Happier Birthdays is a heartwarming program dedicated to brightening the lives of abused, neglected, and abandoned foster children by ensuring they have the opportunity to celebrate their birthdays in a special and memorable way. It addresses the often-overlooked need for these children to experience the simple joy of a birthday celebration. Many of these children have never had the chance to blow out birthday candles, some not until the age of 8 or 9. This program seeks to change that by providing a source of celebration, hope, and cherished memories.

The Happier Birthdays program has formed meaningful partnerships with local community groups, all in the name of nurturing cherished memories. In a collaboration with "For Goodness Cakes," foster youth are provided, free of charge, a professionally crafted cake, lovingly prepared by a talented baker, and presented to them as a symbol of their worth and belonging.

The Bonita-Estero Woman's Club works tirelessly to assemble what they affectionately call "Birthday Boxes." Inside each box lies not just cake baking supplies, but also the promise of a memorable celebration. Plates, party hats, and an assortment of other carefully chosen items await the children, guaranteeing that their special day will be etched into their hearts forever.
