Jazz on the Harbor 2021

Dear Friends –First and foremost, we hope this letter finds you well.Like many of you, we have kept a careful watch on reports regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its impact on Southwest Florida. After careful deliberation, we made the difficult decision to again postpone Jazz on the Harbor, scheduled for April 10th, 2021.At the heart of our organization’s mission is the tireless protection of the most vulnerable in our community.  We strive to have all that we do work towards this purpose, and felt we have a responsibility to expand that fight to this event. Based on guidance from health officials to limit large gatherings as a means to help control the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to do all in our power to keep our supporters safe and felt we needed to make this unfortunate, yet necessary, decision.The music WILL play on!  We have already chosen a new date for Jazz on the Harbor, so mark your calendars for Saturday, March 19^th, 2022! We look forward to welcoming you to the Port Charlotte Beach Complex for a night of delicious fare, incredible jazz, and impactful stories celebrating the work of the Foundation.  Please rest assured knowing that all of your sponsorship benefits and ticket purchases will be honored that evening, and your funds will be used for their originally intended purpose, of supporting the mission of the Guardian ad Litem Foundation.On behalf of the event committee, our staff, and most importantly, the children we serve thank you for your support, understanding, and commitment to those children in our community who need us most. Sincerely,Barbara BermanJazz on the Harbor Event Chair
