Guardian ad Litem Foundation to host ‘Fashion to a Tea’ on Oct. 26

Fashionistas from across Southwest Florida are invited to the Fashion to a Tea, an elegant high tea luncheon and spirited fashion show being held Oct. 26 in Port Charlotte.Models at the fourth annual Fashion to a Tea will be Guardian ad Litem volunteers showcasing chic, trendy styles for women of all ages. Fashions are being provided by Anthony’s Ladies Apparel in Punta Gorda and include cocktail and party dresses, formal wear, business attire, casual wear and athletic apparel.Nancy Sharpless Barbara Berman Jessica Stanfield Nancy SharplessFashion to a Tea, which also features a silent auction, is a signature fundraising event of the Guardian ad Litem Foundation, 20th Judicial Circuit. The organization’s mission is ensuring that every abused, neglected or abandoned youth in Southwest Florida has a voice as they navigate the judicial, education and child welfare systems. The foundation recruits, trains and provides support for court-appointed volunteer child advocates who represent the best interests of a child until a safe, permanent placement is established. The nonprofit also raises funds that help meet a child’s health, educational and social needs.Fashion to a Tea will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Port Charlotte Beach Park Pavilion, 4500 Harbor Blvd. in Port Charlotte.
